The Long Road Home

One the home page of this website, I said the following: All of us go through life on a path that moves forward and that path leads all of us to the same place. We can't go back, but we can look back. What we see behind us can inform us and sometimes it can comfort us. What we can learn from looking back can help us to move forward.

I mean it. I'm doubling down. Let's talk about one boundary of our life. The boundary where our life ends. It doesn't have to be grim. I begin with In From The Storm. It's a powerful memory for me. You might even laugh at the end of Life and Afterlife on the Prairies. Go ahead and read - like the old hooker said, "If you don't like it, you don't have to pay."
